My name is Steven Valentino and I enjoy solving problems and learning about new things. A molecular biologist by training via University of Maine, I have successfully transitioned into my current role where I am a Bioinformatics RA at Lallemand, a leading player in the microbial solutions space.
A lifelong New Englander, I grew up in Maine and currenly live in Vermont. When not building Nextflow/Snakemake pipelines or extracting DNA, I am probably out exploring the woods, enjoying a third wave specialty coffee, cooking, or just hanging out with my wife and our cat. There is also a non-zero chance that I am developing something random right now.
